Diet or the food habit plays an important role in our lifestyle, health and everything. The foods we eat get reflected in us. Amount of Sodium:

Electrolytes are essential for our body and we generally do not run out of sodium. Sodium helps in a number of activities in our body like maintaining the water regulation and transporting the electrical impulse. But excessive intake of sodium can cause high blood pressure which leads to hypertension. A patient who suffered the surgery already has hypertension as a side effect of the medicines he/she took. Therefore, in their diet chart, the amount of sodium should be low.

 Avoid Alcoholic Beverages:

Alcoholic beverages slow down the metabolism. A person who has gone through bone marrow transplantation already has a weak immune system and metabolism. So the patient must avoid drinking alcoholic beverages.
